Hello, I am hosting a Korean War Airsoft Event in Central Florida. It is based around the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir. More info will be added later in time...

You do know that the Chosin was during the very coldest winter, in the mountains, right?? Why not make your event around the Pusan Perimiter...know anything about that? It had both Army and Marine troops against the North Koreans (China wasn't in the war yet).

Cool! Virginia has some good terrain that's similar to parts of Korea. Did anybody take pictures?

I don't have pictures of the event but a friend of mine (Gabe) has a few pics...it sounds like "too much", but I want to turn a truck into a M26 Pershing, you know for the battles...

Go for it!!
I've seen video of Japanese reenactors, in Japan, who've made very interesting vehicles (German half-tracks, and Stuart tanks ) literally from sheets of cardboard.

Nice...but I wanted to get some sheet metal and some molding polymer and build a M26...

All the better!
I always thought that a van chasis (engine up high) might work better, but that's just a thought... and other than that I don't have any insights or recommendations. I will however, wish you good luck and every success with the project!!
